I was amazed how awful this program is. It reminded me of the sort of thing that was freeware in 1990. A complete waste of time - but at least I didn't spend $40 on it.

Just a quick note that 2 of the functions, beyond the obvious encrypter & eraser, can be used for security-related tasks.
With the copy of Win7 on this PC, the Windows folder holds over 120k files -- the Windows folder for a rather sparse copy of 10 holds almost 110k files. You can stick one or several files in that Windows folder, & as long as it blends in -- e.g. you don't name it something like my hidden file -- it's highly doubtful anyone would ever notice. To make it really blend in, after say naming an encrypted zip file [some file name].dll for example, you can change the file's attributes [like date/time] to match the other files in whatever subfolder.
Besides hiding a file or files, you can also make it IMHO pretty much impossible for anyone to ever decrypt something like a encrypted zip file by splitting it into 2 or more pieces, & storing those pieces separately. FWIW, I've read of security experts recommending this strategy for passwords too. You can take an encrypted zip [or 7zip, RAR etc.] file, split it, name the pieces so they're not obvious, put one or both pieces *separately* in the cloud or on removable media or just leave them on your hard drive, & someone would not only have to find them, but ID them as belonging together, & that's before worrying about the password for whatever encryption. Even if your password manager is compromised, that's still not much help to whomever wants to read your stuff.

Still can't figure out what's the application of it.
File Finder? I have Everything from voidtools.
File Renamer? Why?
File Washer? Got it.
File divider? Why, a file is too big for floppy?
File Encrypter? I got it.
File Replacer? ...
Folder-To-TXT? Why?
Useless to me.

this is so outdated and pretty much useless. For me,the most amazing is developers ''courage'' to put $40 price tag!? For what? even as freeware this bundle of ''8 fantastic file and folder tools'' is a waste of space.Another ''fantastic'' surprise is modern and innovative web page ;) .If You need reliable file manager/explorer there are plenty of free and shareware programs, far better than this one.For example XYplorer (I think it was offered here),with tons of tools(plus there is portable and free version). And that's just one similar app,far better than this.

perpetummobile,
ONe of if not the best (I think) options is offered as an installed or portable version in both 32 and 64 bit flavors. It is that I know of the only quad pane file explorer available that has these different versions and it is FREE.
Q-Dir is great and the guy that makes it is pretty helpful when emailed with a question or concern in my experience as well. It's great that GOTD offers us things each day but sometimes the offering really misses the mark with so much out there often that is comparable or better.
You XYplorer just got me thinking many people might not be aware of Q-Dir and how amazingly useful 4 windows (more with tabs in use!) can be, to me it is invaluable.
