I've used this tool for many months in the past and found it a pretty good DATA MANAGEMENT app.

Actually it can be used for pretty much ANYTHING: as a planner, diary, online research sources tool, contact-management, project-management app etc...

Data can be stored under various folders, in a tree structure organized by theme or any other criteria you want.

Supports the "Drag&Drop" function to move items from one folder to another, as well as a nice a Text Editor module and a powerful search feature option to search for certain KEYWORDS in your notes.

So overall this GOTD is a very good product and deserves a THUMBS UP,

....but....

...how about the awesome freeware EVERNOTE?

Among tons of powerful features, it even provides you with a nice OCR function, missing in this GAOTD: amazing, isn't it?

https://evernote.com

Combined with the GTD(Getting Things Done) approach, it really gives you an extremely powerful weapon to increase your daily work productivity dramatically!!!

Other excellent FREE & PORTABLE Data Management apps designed to organize and share huge volume of info like a PRO, are also these:

http://www.encomit.de/myshelf/features.html (==> Can sync all your data with your mobile phones for FREE and without relying on any expensive cloud services out there)

http://www.resoph.com/ResophNotes/Welcome.html (==> Can quickly manage and sync all your notes via the Simplenote server)

http://www.sanwhole.com/vole-magic-note.html (==> Can embed in your personal diary any multimedia files, online video URLs and hyperlinks with ease).

To collect, organize, cite, and share your data and research sources (PDFs, images, audio and video files, snapshots of web pages etc...) into a single, searchable interface similar to iTunes playlists, you may also use an amazing freeware called "ZOTERO".

This software automatically senses & indexes the full-text content of your library, assigning TAGS over them as you add them in the library so as to search for any items using your own keywords.

And guess what? It can even automatically synchronize your research library across as many devices as you like for FREE, keeping your notes, files and bibliographic data silently updated.

FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

So 34 $ ?? ==> LOL <== ^_^ !!!!

HINT to this GAOTD developer: how about add some of the above supercool features provided by FREEWARE APP on the next "AllMyNotes Organizer" version ???

To # 18 (Giovanni): Evernote is not free at all. Compare Evernote's $50/year with our one-time $34 (plus, add today's discount)... Or… Vole Magic Note costs whole $80. And we also have free version, as majority of competitors do. Each of apps you are writing about has pros and cons, and if you'll compare them carefully you'll see that there is reasons why each software title has place under the sun, and why others are still useful for other user categories.

Installed, that means extracted.

The language was ukrainian. To switch to englisch language:

Go to the forth entry on top : IHCTPYMEHTN

Open then and go to : HANAWTYBAHHR with the tool symbol

Search the entry : MOBA and choose your language.

Seems to be a good tool. Not yet tested completely. But it's portable - and activated.

Thanks

ps: special thanks to Karl for the switch-the-language guide. :)

Another option to set the language is go in the "Languages" sub folder and delete all the .lng files except for the one(s) you want to use and then just start the program again and it automatically switches.
