Downloaded OK, but I have sort of come to expect that from giveawayoftheday.

Unzipped OK.

Install:
I want to have the program under "utilities" in my start menu, so I request that during installation.
After installation, I cannot find it in my start menu at all.
Installation-program tells me it is registered.

I start it from my programs-folder instead. Not registered, 30 day trial.

Uninstall.

Try again as administrator.
Same problems, not in start menu where I told it to go, and only trial version.

Did not bother to tell it where in the start menu to be installed. Found it under "AltDesk" at root-level. (I have way to many programs, and this behavior "helps" me mess up my start menu beyond repair)
Ran the program. Still only trial version.

Getting bored with this, tempted to give up.

(OK, the program itself seems kind of ok (in the trial version), but I do not bother playint to much with a program I would probably not be using if it was not free today.
If I want a trial-version of a program, I will GET that trial version.)

So far:
Not installing where I want it
Not able to get it to activate
Not going to keep it.

Hello everybody,

we have got the information from the Developer considering trojan detection Avira gives.

It is all about altdesk.dll file that has been modified recently, but Gladiators Software assures that it is false positive.
