Ok, downloaded and installed fine on Windows 7 x64. Registering went without a hitch. I have to admit, I went into this deal a little leery. Especially after already having Wallpaper Engine which not only works great, but is extremely cheap compared to this software.
HOWEVER, one thing that has been a pain is creating animated wallpapers in Wallpaper Engine. That's not the case with "Animated Wallpaper maker 5". It's extremely simple. Basically you just add effects, modify them through simple editing tools and voila - You've got yourself a nice looking wallpaper.
I'm also surprised at just how complex you can make a wallpaper. This is definitely a keeper, even though it won't be replacing Wallpaper Engine on my PC.
An absolute must download since it's being given away free.

"You don't need expensive, complicated software anymore. It's very easy! " for $35?! I'd consider that expensive! Considering Wallpaper Engine on Steam is $4.00 I'd much rather go with that. That has a workshop full of live/animated wallpapers with built in support to create your own should you wish.
Thanks, but no thanks I'll stick to Wallpaper Engine.

Daniel15092, absolutely. Wallpaper Engine is not only cheap, but there are literally thousands of live wallpapers for it. With that being said, I'm going to give this GOTD app a go since it's free. Who knows, maybe it'll be a hidden gem.
I'd never pay retail for it, way too expensive for what it is. I understand there are people behind the software that needs to get paid. But if competitors are able to release similar software for a fraction of the price, you're doing something wrong.

Daniel15092,
Animated Wallpaper Maker is a editor in the first place. And its editor functions are very advanced.
It does not require steam client and the standard license allows commercial use.

DesktopPaints Support, Yes to both. There isn't anything your software can do, that Wallpaper Engine can't do.
Please keep in mind, I'm in favor of your software. Mainly due to the fact that it's extremely simple to create some very nice wallpapers. Wallpaper Engine does not have such an easy to use editor like your "Animated Wallpaper Engine 5" has. That's a strong suit your software has, and that's why I recommend people to give your software a go because they'll be making some great looking wallpapers within minutes of starting it up.

After creating "Aquarium Example.exe" for testing purpose, Windows 10 64bit asks for d3dx9_43.dll. OK, I copied it from the program to Windows folder. Then, when clicking on the example, nothing happens.
Pity but my system also doesn't set any AWM animation as default desktop background.
Any advice?

Noemi,
Direct X 9 is rather old, but it's still used by some apps & games. The latest version that comes with Win10 is supposed to be backward compatible, but that doesn't always work, & in those cases you have to install DirectX 9, downloading & running the web setup or redistribution package from Microsoft.
Direct X works with the graphics processor [GPU], & performance varies. A low end GPU won't have the same level of Direct X support as a GPU on a $200 graphics card, & that low end GPU may not fully support Direct X 9, but only later versions. That means that the Desktop Paints apps & screensavers won't work on every system.
"Pity but my system also doesn't set any AWM animation as default desktop background."
Windows won't. The way it works is that once Windows starts it runs the Desktop Paints app, which is what runs the animated wallpaper. Working that way is a good thing because you can turn it on/off -- you don't necessarily want something running, taking up a portion of your device's horsepower, when you're gaming for example.
