Re #2 - if you have a GPS enabled camera / smart phone then it can identify the location of the photo so everyone has the potential to see where you live/ have been - not so non sensitive.

@#2: It can be VERY useful to remove GPS information from photographs, especially of children, if published somewhere for intended viewing by family/friends. Don't knock it just because it may not apply to you.
