It's OK...does what it claims very well!
Very useful to fix pics with defects of brightness caused by photoflash or because taken by mobile phone.
But 45 BUCKS just to improve the brightness of dark areas and changes the image size and aspect ratio of a pic? You must be kidding dude...
How about GIMP??
GIMP ==> Does about 1000 photo editing tasks at NO COST!!
So why pay more for less??

I thought this program would be just another one click 'photo improver' which I find generally push every aspect (brightness, contrast, saturation and sharpness)to the limit, so you end up with a completely unnatural 'Technicolor' type image, but not so. This really does do 'what it says on the tin' and I'm very impressed. It will certainly be my first port of call when I want to enhance any photograph. Excellent!

Has all the hallmarks of a Two Pilots program, so I was surprised to see it wasn't.
When you open it you can view examples which give you a demonstration of its uses.
I tested it on a few photographs and it does what it says, having said that care must be taken so that photograph doesn't have what I can only describe as an artificial look.
By that I mean has obviously been manipulated such as in #2 Bob’s second photograph where there is something not quite right about the colours.
I think it is considerably more powerful than appears at first sight, the third example hints at this when it brings back the distant objects.
I tried it in photo shop CS2 which basically brought me back into the normal program interface.
A really interesting program looks like it has a lot of potential, as it should have it isn't cheap, but it's free for today and well worth a download.

I thought this was going to be yet another one-click photo improvement program. And for $45, I was prepared to vote it down.
I was wrong!
After reading the comments here and seeing some of the examples, I installed it and was very pleased with the results. It has a way of improving photos that I haven't seen in any other retouching program. You need to play with the "lighten" settings (15 to 255, default 127) on each photo, but it has an undo feature (the Cancel button) which makes the experimenting fast and easy. Another plus: it has an in-program help file so you don't need to connect to the Internet if you have a question. Also, there are some help guides on the website that have useful explanations about how to do other things like remove or change the background. Two thumbs up for today's program.
