Chronographは、 コンピュータの内部刻時機構を原子時間に合わせる実用的な製品です。通常のコンピュータの内部刻時機構は、あまり正確でなく頻繁な手動訂正が必要です。Chronograph は、自動的に国立標準技術研究所（NIST)の原子時計サーバーを使用して正確な時間を維持します。
このプログラムは、どのコンピューター使用者にもとても便利な製品で、正確な時間表示を必要とする（例：証券会社）プロには必需品のひとつとなります。Chronographは、高度な正確さを提供し、ローカルのコンピューターと実時間の差は、訂正後に0.5秒以上になることがほとんどありません。このわずかな違いは、修正不可能なネットワーク伝達遅延によって生じます。
