I've been using version 3.1 of this program for over a year now after getting it as a giveaway on another website. It's the best clipboard manager I've seen, at least for my not overly-demanding needs, partly because it is generally intuitive--meaning I don't have to go running to the help file every time I want to do something. It just sits in the background collecting clips which I can retrieve any time I screw things up and need to start over again.
The reason I'm writing this note today is to say that I'm sorry that Softvoile didn't decide to offer a half-price with future upgrades option (like many companies here do) alongside the free offer. I would have bought it in a flash.

Today’s giveaway is a nice and pretty useful software that does its job pretty well....
...but....dudes.....
..... why pay 20 bucks for a program like this one if there are plenty of FREE and UPDATABLE alternatives out there that can do the same things and even more for FREE??
It doesn't make sense, does it?? LOL!!
Just GOOGLE the following magic FREE CLIPBOARD TOOLS (can't post any download link today):
- PORTABLE DITTO 3.18.24.0
With this awesome FREE tool, any type of data, that can be put on the clipboard (text, images, html, custom formats), is ENCRYPTED when sent over the network.
And, like SUVI’S GLOBAL CLIPBOARD (see link below), it can also keep multiple computer’s clipboards in SYNC!!
http://ditto-cp.sourceforge.net/
- CLIPBOARD MASTER 2.3.2 (it stores texts, pictures and files copied to the clipboard with an impressive array of options)
- CLIPBOARD MANAGER 1.0.0.0 (it stores TEXT & IMAGES with ease)
- GET PLAIN TEXT 1.0 (it removes unwanted formatting from the clipboard in less than one second!!)
- CLIP PAD 2.0 (it copies text, images, HTML and even sections of Word, Excel and PowerPoint docs through a powerful drag&drop function)
- CLIPBOARDIC (it shares the clipboard data between multiple computers on your local network)
Finally, there is also a very cool FREE APP that automatically syncronizes your copied & pasted data from one computer to another by using Peer-to-Peer technology!!
Yes FREE app…don’t believe me??
Here you go, dudes:
- SUVI’S GLOBAL CLIPBOARD 0.3
http://www.suvi.org/projects/globalclipboard.html
Enjoy & Prosper (for FREE of course....LOL!!)
Ciao

I have been hanging on to an old freeware version of this program. It is a keeper and would suggest this is one of the most useful tools you will ever come across.

Years and years and years ago, when
FF and IE continually crashed, I
began looking for a tool that I
could use to copy/save urls (because
FF and IE did not recover opened pages)
I found ClipDiary after many, many
different tryouts with loads of
different, similar programs..
ClipDiary was the hands down winner
out of all of the programs I tried.
I LOVE this little program. It's
simple and takes up virtually no
space... hangs onto everything until
you dump it.
You can now search for things and,
when you copy something, it's highlighted
in red.
Tiushkov Nikolay responds to email
and is incredibly helpful. He also
listens to suggestions.
The updates for the paid software
are pretty cool, too...
Thanks Tiushkov Nikolay and GOATD :)
