They obviously can't get many to purchase Dumo as it's the third time I've seen it here. Driver Booster is free and does all the work for you. This crap software doesn't. It takes you to the sites and it's up to you to go digging for the updated drivers.

laurie askey,
I'd never trust a piece of software to update my drivers. If that software updates with the incorrect one, you could potentially kiss your system goodbye! Don't be lazy, do the footwork yourself and make sure that it is correct before istallation. Auto updating drivers is a fool's game and will eventually end up in you being the fool...

Some of the latest computers manufactures include software that automatically checks for critical/necessary updates. I have mine set to notify me when such updates are available. From past experience I have not had a good experience with Driver Update tools. Always created a restore image/point in case an update went south.

FWIW... Large established brands, e.g. Dell, HP, Lenovo etc., will for a while, but once a device is no longer being sold &/or is no longer under factory warranty, they generally stop providing those updates. These manufacturers do vet the drivers they release, but the delay for them to do so can also mean those drivers are then out of date.

Is this a 'Driver Updater' as it claims, or a driver monitor that informs you of drivers that need updating? There's a difference.

Dumo (as Sumo) is a very nice tool to gain a complete printable list of installed drivers and information about their version. However, I don' t thrust the program for updating the "old" drivers and prefer downloading from the manufacturer's site if needed. Keeping in mind that if the PC works well, it's probably better to leave the drivers as they are, without updating. Anyways, for me the program is a must have as excellent driver information tool.
