Just tried this out.
Put 2 docx and 1 xlsx files on to a 8GB flash drive, then deleted them.
The scan took 20 minutes and found all 3 but only the docx were readable.
Use Undelete 360 instead of wasting time downloading this rubbish. All 3 files, and much more, were recovered in 2-3 seconds and the xlsx file opened perfectly.

You are aware once the PST FILE is overwritten with new data, in the same octet, that file isn't going to be able to be recovered.
The only way you can get your missing email is by having it backed up on server side. This way, when a user deletes the email from, say "outlook" it's only deleted from his computer, not your email server?

This program may work as advertised and be a decent free offering. But once again we are being offered an application that is not sold in the stand alone version we are receiving. It's actually part of a suite that the authors sell. So how do they arrive at the magical $60 selling price? They've never sold it. Allowing the practice of giving away chunks of an application is fine and dandy but don't let them put an inflated price that nobody has ever paid on it.

As the computer is totally unaware of file type and stores in exactly the same manner what ever extension it has, recovery programs what ever their claims have no interest in file type.
If companies programs only claim to recover certain types of program, it only means one thing they're out to make as much money as they can from you.

In simple terms information on the hard drive as a starting point; here the name and extension etc are stored, the rest of the information is stored in bits and pieces on the hard drive, and these are indexed what ever the file type!

Personally I will never support programs that claim to recover only the one file type
