Djon, I downloaded the Zip file, which directs one to the more detailed website with downloads for individual programs. It looks like all of them are free to use forever, but no upgrades.

It's a large app, taking up a bit more than 500MB, with 2 folders added to Users\ [UserName]\ AppData\ Local\ -- CornerTips & system_backup_gui. An empty Boot folder is also added to C:\. The initial downloaded app is a downloader, downloading the actual setup file, sm_free_x64.exe, at 200MB. 2 services are added to the registry, along with 2 keys for the app & one for uninstall. It can backup files &/or folders, sync files/folders, or clone one partition, or all partitions on a hard disk/SSD to a VHD [Virtual Hard Disk], which can be mounted to access individual files &/or folders. It supports full, incremental, & differential backups, copying everything, only files/folders that have changed *since the last backup*, or only files/folders that have changed *since the last **full** backup*.

MiniTool Video Converter

Once activated the top of the app's window shows 187 days remaining. The downloaded setup file is a downloader, with the real setup file, vc-free.exe, weighing in at just short of 140MB. It seems to be the average ffmpeg video convertor -- I didn't see any CUDA [Nvidia} or Quick Sync [Intel] specific files for hardware acceleration, though basic support was probably baked in when ffmpeg was compiled. Besides the program's folder, TWluaVRvb2wgVmlkZW8gQ29udmVydGVy was added to ProgramData [that folder name *may* vary], with one folder added to Documents & 2 folders, MiniTool Video Converter and CEF, added to Users\ [UserName]\ AppData\ Local\. At the top of the app's Window it just says monthly, with no further info in About. The MiniTool giveaway page says it's worth 70 some dollars, and the closest match on the windows where you enter the key is one year for $59 normal price. MiniTool_Moviemaker_for_Giveaway.exe is a downloader -- the real setup file, mmm-free-x64.exe, weighs in at just over 400MB. Besides the program's folder, one folder's added to Documents, one folder, tool.agent.re.ch.ck.bin, is added to ProgramData, and MiniTool MovieMaker & CEF are added to Users\ [UserName]\ AppData\ Local\. I counted 7 new registry keys.
