Hi everyone, we use Skype, and so do a lot of our customers to contact us (it is free after all!). Having a record of the conversation can be useful sometimes especially as it can integrate with our Google Mail account as well. We shall give this one a go!

Unique...but why use this when GMail users can get Google Voice for free and record any messages left from any phone and retrieve them as text or audio...for free.

Review:

PROS:

* Smooth download/installation/activation/registration on Win 7 (32-bit) OS, even though not noted in specs.

* Registration status prominently displayed in "License Key" section of program.

* Allows user to store call recording: on pc & G-mail, on pc only, on G-mail only.

* Allows user to re-export existing Skype chat history to G-mail.

* Allows user to: enable call recording notice, show tray icon for program.

* Allows user to set call-recording quality: Normal Quality (2 hours), Good Quality (1.5 hours, Perfect Quality (1 hour)

* Easy to use and operate.

CONS: - it's expensive (almost double) of what other paid programs cost (i.e., only $14.95), and also compared with comparable freeware alternatives that are equally capable and more feature-rich.

SUMMARY: - This program does what it claims & is also useful, as many people nowadays use Skype to communicate with friends, family, colleagues, and acquaintances. Two thumbs up for today's Giveaway. Thanks, GOTD and G-Recorder.
