Installed as a "32 bit" installation on my Win 64bit system without problems so far - everything seems functional.

Registration was straight forward registration with the publisher - albeit I gave them my email which always causes a firestorm around here.

Really happy with the response once I registered - go back to the purchase screen and you get this:
"You already have an Unlimited Domains license for Likno Web Accordion Builder"

Additionally, I got a new Download Link since I'm already registered - it looks like I can reload it if I have to rebuild my system or something. If that's the case, we only have about 2 or three other companies that do that for Giveaway of The Day offers. I hope so, because that's how I typically lose my product - and it's frustrating enough to not want to ever buy it once lost.

It shows a 3 domain limit on the $40-$50 version - this is the $80-$90 unlimited domain "Pro" version.
So nice to see they didn't do that trick where they give us an "upgradable" limited version. I really dislike that alot of the the other companies here that do that. This is not a trial pretending to be a full version. You get the whole deal *thumbs up*

I can't imagine what the big deal is for those who loathe email registration. Mostly think that alot of people around here want to just click and go - but this way actually helps make their giveaway more likely to get customers - so it's all good!

Note if you get the following error when installing (we found this happening in some PCs with Win XP SP3):

"TSU LOADER: error 32 while extracting TSU.DLL"

This is caused due to a conflict in the GOTD installer trying to run the Likno installer in your particular OS configuration.

This does NOT HAPPEN when the standard Likno installer is used (from our website).

SOLUTION 1: Users that had this problem told us that they just run the GOTD installer for a *2nd time* and it worked!.

SOLUTION 2: If the GOTD installer still fails for this reason or any other reason (false positive of antivirus for example), please email us directly at support [AT] likno [DOT] com and we will take care of it.

In case our office is closed (we will be here from 08:00 GMT to 20:00 GMT today) DO NOT WORRY, just email us and tomorrow we will send you all the required info to get the license. You will not lose the opportunity to get the free license!

1. Yes, we are one of those 2 or 3 companies that provide a re-download link within your Likno User Area (created when registering to get the Activation Code).

This is absolutely correct, thank you for pointing this out.

This is also the reason for the required email address because you really need to have a Likno User Area account in order to be able to re-download the application in the future AND also download the EXTRA Accordion Examples/Designs.

2. Yes, the GOTD version IS the "Unlimited Domains" version that costs $85 and also includes EXTRA Accordion Examples/Designs.
It is the best version you can get and it is FREE!

could you please clarify the licensing model of todays giveaway?

If I'm not mistaken, it allows the user to "easily create any type of Accordion or Slider for your sites, such as: vertical accordion, ..." but not to deploy anything to an online web site.

Upon installation we get this information:

The unlicensed version is fully functional for your local (not published online) websites. You are free to use it for testing or development purposes. You are not allowed to use it inside distributable implementations (such as demos, applications or CD-based webs).

Purchasing domain licenses for the Likno Web Accordion Builder entitles you to use the code in your publised websites online.

A special license is required for use of the Software Output on distributed software.

1. GRANT OF LICENSE:

a. This is a license, not a sale of the Software;
b. Likno Software grants you the non-exclusive
and non-transferable right to use this software and its output only for the
particular domains (eg: http://www.mysite.com) you purchased a license for.
c. The produced javascripts(Software Output) shall only be used on Internet or Intranet
web sites that reside on a web server and only for the domains that you purchased a license for.

So to mee it semms, like an evaluation version for local testing only. Such a software doesn't make much sense without a perspective for online use. So my question is, what is the price for one domain license?
