To be honest, I must admit the Moyea PPT to Video is an ease to use. Download and installation, 2 minutes. Importing and setting, 1 minute. Conversion, 58 seconds. I will keep it as my favorite.
The confusion about the system requirements confuses me. This just isn't that hard to understand.
To #21 and #22 - Are you kidding me? It clearly states in the system requirements that PowerPoint is a REQUIREMENT.

Of course you would need PPT in order to use this software. The purpose is to create video of your own PPT slides/files into alternate formats (i.e. AVI, WMV, MPEG, MP4, MOV, FLV and 3GP) that you can then post or send to others without requiring the end user to have PPT installed on their computer (the person viewing the video you created and posted/sent). So let's say I create a PPT file of my presentation. I want to send it to multiple persons and I'm not sure what each person's computer system is, what software they have installed, or even what platform they are using. I convert my PPT presentation into a WMV file (I just picked one - the software offers choices) and now I can send my presentation without having to worry about whether each person has PPT or not. Regardless of what they are using, they should be able to access a WMV file with no problems.
Bruce, if you want to manipulate the occasional PPT files that people send you, purchase and install PPT. Since you state you don't have Office or PPT, you probably use a PPT viewer program or Google to VIEW the files. This software is for users who already have PPT and want to convert it to other formats; it is not intended to be a free "getaround" for those who are unwilling/unable to purchase PPT

I dare say this converter is a good given! So many video formats available, and the speed satisfying, - took me 1:20 minutes at all to complete 20 slides with YouTube clip. And the video slideshow works fine with my iPhone. Thanks Moyea!
