HINT #1:
Registering at Paragon´s is NOT necessary!

De-compress the included .iso file with a packer and burn this image (ImageBurner etc) The .exe archive is not really protected and you dont´t need the serial to extract the file!!!)

Hint#2 - WARNING:
For non-profis I wouldn´t suggest to just try out all funtions of the rescue system just for fun! - you might get boot problems wich are not serious, but not easy to handle with limited knowlege!

Reading some of the comments here is kind of ridiculous. The ISO is actually hidden inside of 'setup.exe' and you will need to provide a serial for it to automatically burn the ISO onto a disk. However, if you use WinRAR or some other software, you can extract the ISO hidden inside of 'setup.exe' so that you don't need to provide any serial number by Paragon to burn it. Regarding the software itself, it is a software that runs off of a disk when you first start up a computer which is the reason why they provide an ISO (a disk image) so that you can burn it to a media so that it can be used by inserting into the optical drive when the computer starts.

How does this related to Paragon Rescue Kit? Well, that file you have there IS Paragon Rescue Kit. It's just an image of the software that you must burn to a media and apparently it seems that your computer default application for burning ISO files is NCH Express Burn so I'm guessing that you have that application installed on your computer. Anyway, if you don't really even understand about what's going on and even end up asking such a question, I recommend that you should not mess with this software because who knows, you might really end up making your system unbootable because you don't know what you're doing.

You got bootable CD with Rescue Kit utility. Now you can boot your computer with that CD and run Rescue Kit. There's no installation package to install to Windows.

Rescue Kit is bootable CD/DVD. It has Password Cleaner tools that resents Windows account's password in case you forgot it.

Not to upset you, but it's not quite correct to compare Rescue Kit and True Image. Rescue Kit is not backup utility, it is a tool to fix boot problems, wipe data, reset password. It also helps to save docs and files to safe place if Windows doesn't boot, but it doesn't allow to backup the system on regular basis as True Image. Paragon Drive Backup does it.

Just run setup.exe, it will start Unpack and Burn Wizard which will help you to create bootable CD or DVD with Rescue Kit on it.

the setup process is different today because we are receiving a disk image instead of installing a program like we usually do. When you run the setup, you get to a screen where it is requesting a product ID and key. To get these, you click on the link to Paragon, where you enter your name and give them a valid email address. Within a few minutes (they said 15, but I got it in less than five) they will send you an email with the info that was requested by the setup program. Once you've entered it (I did two copy-and-pastes), it will send you the .iso image. Once the download is complete, the GAotD activation program automatically runs, and you've some more great, free software to try out.

I elected to store mine rather than immediately burn the disk, as I have other things I need to do just now.
