Come on guys, what are you writing here? This is the tool to migrate your physical OS to Microsoft Virtual PC, VMware workstation or Virtual Box machines. This is not a backup & recovery software.
Sometimes you want to play with installations of different programs without touching your real OS then you download Virtual Box - create the virtual drive of your real drive and boot from it Virtual machine.
Since then you can have OS in OS on one PC.
This is exactly what Paragon Virtualization Manager designed for.

Paragon Virtualization Manager is, in general, a convertor tool that can take an image of real Windows system and save it in format of virtual machine and restore system from virtual environment.
Virtualization Manager is absolutely different from Northon Ghost: it is not a background software that creates backups, it is designed for Virtualization

This program is not to be confused with the System Restore function of your operating system , or the recovery partition of your hard drive. A lot of colleges have something called Deep Freeze on their systems, which restores an exact copy of the operating system upon each bootup in the morning to clear away the junk and misuse from the previous day.

It does remind me however, of Norton Ghost.

The ability to try out a program, and revert it on the fly is a plus however as the freeware directory on this site can contain a few bad eggs ;)

At 78.6 mb this is a huge program. I assume all the features are to contribute to the size of the program. Unless you understand what this program really does, you may only find yourself a "normal" user like me and only use the drive virtualization and the cloning ability.

This is a starter list of freeware utilities that can do drive imaging. I notice Macrium Reflect is in the list of discussion on that website, and they talk about it not being free. IT IS FREE!
