Tried this out using a couple of PDFs I had downloaded from the internet. The converted DOCX file was reasonably close to the original layout except that there was a blank page inserted between each of the ones from the original PDF. The bizarre thing is when I converted a few pages rather than the entire document, there were no extra blank pages. Then I exported a DOCX file as PDF from Word and then converted it back and the conversion worked like a charm. It looks like this program works well with short documents or a few pages extracted from a document, but has problems with longer ones. And like previous giveaways of the same type, it will only work on PDFs which were created from text based documents, if the original PDF was created from image files, say a scanned document, then it won't be able to convert it to editable text. You would need an OCR program to do that.

What a pity! It doesn’t seem to support the OCR feature.
I think this feature is rather important.

Some issues with this software, WinXP
After installation the software will not open, I had to go to the task manager and kill PDF2WORD.exe for the software to open, if you close it and try to open it again it will not launch until you kill the PDF2WORD.exe in the task manager
