Today's giveaway is probably one of the most useful piece of software ever released in PC history.
Before using Process Lasso, I had tried a pretty decent freeware app called "PROCESS TAMER" in the hope to keep my processes under control but, despite having, at that time, a couple of features missing in the PROCESS LASSO FREE EDITION (for instance the ability to blacklist processes), I almost immediately noticed that PROCESS TAMER could not match neither the speed nor the outstanding settings provided by PROCESS LASSO.
But what actually does PROCESS LASSO to make users' PC working smarter and smoother??
Well, in short, it makes programs running faster by controlling the CPU USAGE of other unnecessary programs that are using too much CPU in the background.
To do this, it uses a cutting-edge technology called PROBALANCE TECHNOLOGY designed to balance the CPU processes with a special ALGORITHM, made by the developer of Process Lasso, so that background programs (i.e. your anti-virus suite) are being given lower priority over the foreground ones (i.e. programs requiring keyboard and mouse usage), in order to dramatically increase the responsiveness of your entire system.
This is of course very handy if you have pretty outdated PC and want to play GAMES along with other applications at the same time.
3 THUMBS UP and highly recommended!!
BEST (but not better) FREE ALTERNATIVES
* (Portable) Actual Booster
As the award winning "Process Lasso" this nice FREE standalone tool can dramatically optimize your PC performance, making your system faster and more stable, by automatically allocating the majority of your system resources (CPU power, RAM etc...) to the currently active applications or games.

My $24.95 for today's giveaway.....
I'm currently on a XP SP3 system.
I Downloaded de GAOTD-zip file and started installing.
I was amazad to get a message that I had the 64 bit version and the 32 bit version had to be downloaded first. I allowed it and averything went well, but why had this all to be indirect?
When I finally checked the version it appeared to be v6.0 and not v6.5.
So I went over to the bitsum-site and downloaded v6.5 trial-version.
It installed right away (32 bit) and also appeared to be v6.5. That's much better.
Together with the key-info from https://bitsum.com/giveawayoftheday_registration.php
I could activate. The trial-version has no wrapper by the way, but activation might be closed tomorrow by Bitsum ofcourse (internet is needed to activate and Bitsum can close down their end tomorrow).
Finally I also downloaded the portable version from the Bitsum-site.
No problems, V6.5, 32 bits and actived well.
Have your way with it and take profit, success!
Dear users (Windows x32 users mostly),
we have just contacted Jeremy Collake (the Developer) regarding the issue with version of the program.
Though it is 6.5 for Windows x64 users, Windows x32 users seem to be getting the wrong one. The correct installation file is downloaded automatically, so we will let you know as soon as we receive an answer from Jeremy.
Until the issue is fixed, please download the installation file for Windows x32 manually on the registration page.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

"We NEVER disclose customer emails to any other entity, nor do we send out 'newsletters'. " This is definitely the best policy ever!
Q: Asked earlier, "... If it was truly a magnificent upgrade in performance, I suspect Microsoft would have long ago bought out the software developer company for a hundred billion US dollars. And PC manufacturers like HP and Dell would have installed it as a default in every computer sold ..."
A: ... because Microsoft and Dell are in the business of selling NEW computers, not keeping older computers running well forever, seldom if ever needing replacement (Dell GLUES hard drives to the motherboard inside their new M5110 portables, with no service access opening, for example!).
We have a choice: hundreds of dollars to Microsoft and Dell, or $25, today FREE, to Bitsum for Process Lasso.
No brainer?
さすがに、ロースペックのXPに入れたら、余計に重くなったよ。7はいい感じだな。
