What is the point? After 1 year you need to scramble to find another "free for 1 year" software and re-input your passwords all over again into that new software? It does not make any sense.
Please just use the freeware equivalents of this genre of software.

This is great software but am I going to transfer all my data across from Lastpass to take advantage of a one year licence of Roboform ? For me I think not - but thanks anyway.

some time ago i was a user of roboform. i found a vulnerability and notified the company several times. finally i got a tepid response just saying that "that's just the way it is"....and they did nothing. i tried several others and finally "password safe" and have been happily with that since. and its also free and not time constrained like this one and others.

The one year license kills this offer stone dead. Though a security product, it is not one requiring constant updating in the same way that AV and AM software does. With free competition around like the long established LastPass (my own personal favorite) Roboform really needs to get to grips with its rental ware approach to password management.

It makes sense to use a password manager. Too many computer owners "recycles" their passwords, and that isn't very smart, is it. I allready have a lifetime licence for a password manager (Dashlane), but I would have considered to try RoboForm - if it absolutely should be a Pro. version. However, I read, that, Eddie Snowden, recommended, KeePass, which is an open source program worth considering : http://keepass.info/
Thanks a lot, RoboForm, and the team behind GOTD, for the generous offer. Btw - all password managers should be offered with a lifetime licence. Buying a licence year after year is a bit outdated on the field - especially, when there's very good freeware alternatives available. Give us an offer, we can't resist ;o)
