Tidy up your favorite bookmarks! Organize your favorite links as live thumbnails instead of trying to work through plain-text links. Open, delete, move, resize and update bookmarks in a single click. Lower Case Switcher is a simple, but very useful utility that allows you to correct UPPER and lower case typos, that can occur if you accidentally left the Caps Lock button turned on. All you have to do is press a keyboard hotkey and the selected text, or last typed word will be converted to upper and/or lower case.

Installs quickly with no issues on Win7 x64. It definitely makes all of your programs more quickly accessible than through the default start menu. As soon as you click on start or hit the 'windows' key the menu pops open, with all your programs immediately ready to be launched without the need for a bunch of scrolling to get to them.
It also seems to work really well with the keyboard, having groups of programs assigned to certain keys. Once you hit the key for the group of programs you want, each program in that group is assigned a number key, so that you can launch them that way.
I appreciate the Aero styling of it, but it's still a bit of a downgrade from the default when it comes to looks. It comes with other skins, so your mileage may vary.
It's also worth noting that the search seems slower with this than with the default. Just a bit. At the same time though, the search successfully brought up the program MP3Tag as one of my results when I searched for 'tag', which the default would not do. Don't know if I'll keep this or not, but at least it's something different.
Thanks.

My suggestion and comment is: Give the option to put text on a plain background and this would make it easier to see, especially for the partially sighted.

#4 - Damon - If uninstalled your "old" menu will still be there. It is always available by holding the shift key while clicking the start button. Nothing is ever removed or replaced when installed & uninstalled.
#6 - Mike Vaughan - Under "options" you will see many skins that enable you to change the background to your liking. I'm sure there is one there that will help with your disability.
Obviously, you can tell that I am a very satisfied user of the paid version of this program. I discovered it here when it was a give-away and then I bought a license to support the publisher!

Tried it on a previous GAOTD posting, and was not impressed. Seemed bulky and slower than the standard start menu on both XP Pro SP3 and Win7 Ultimate.

#1 - Blessa - I have used this with XP for over a year and it is awesome!
To see the normal XP menu, just hold the shift key when you click the start button and the regular Windows menu shows instead of Start Menu 7. It couldn't be easier! Click the start button by itself and you're back in Start Menu 7.
