Warning - I have found that if you update GAOTD offerings you are then asked to pay and if you don't want to pay for the update its too late because you quite often then loose your FREE lifetime licence.
I am always very careful not to casually agree to update as it can result in losses.
Todays offering may well lead you to do just that.
BTW if you ever lost a GAOTD free lifetime licence this could well be the reason. It was on auto update.

Download on a Windows 10 machine, working very well, Also added the Driver Update. This is not a complete package. I was able to SCAN, but the "updates" are found on there server ONLY. If you wish to download from the manufacture's website, you will need to purchase the PRO version. Its NOW un-installed, will not be using this software. Thank you.

Given that Sumo itself won't get updated, does someone know how long does it stay effective in updating the software it monitors.
I currently use PatchMyPC which is free, updates many free applications, and has been around for a while.

Thank you for this give away. Sumo and Dumo are excellent programs to INFORM you about available software or drivers updates, but... I would NEVER allow automatic updates for whatsoever. As mentioned before by D Murphy, software updates could kill your actual license resulting in a no longer working program, and driver updates could kill your computer completely in some cases of non-supported drivers (older display drivers), especially with the latest version of Windows 10 (2004 and higher). One point hurts me however: this giveway is the "PRO" version, but when you click on the driver tab, you see that Dumo is not installed, and sends you to the publisher's page in order to purchase the program or to install the free version. At least this free Dumo version should be part of the Sumo package.
