Lots of misinformation with today's giveaway (from both publisher AND users).
1) No, SUMo does NOT contain OpenCandy. The publisher is correct in stating that.
2) Yes, SUMo DOES contain Relevant Knowledge. The publisher conveniently neglects to mention that in his reply.
3) Relevant Knowledge is optional. During the install procedure, the user is asked whether to include this. Simply saying "No" is all it takes. The installation proceeds, without Relevant Knowledge.
4) If you missed step 3, it's easy to get rid of Relevant Knowledge. Just go to Windows "Programs and Features" and tell it to uninstall Relevant Knowledge.
5) Just like any other GAOTD software, you need to register/activate the software. So don't complain that you don't have the "Pro" version, if you haven't done that!
6) Unfortunately, the software publisher fails to include the "Pro" title in the Help-About menu. The only way to know that you've got the Pro version is that you don't see a little box suggesting you upgrade to Pro.
7) The version in this giveaway is not the latest. A new version was published December 19. I presume these giveaways are organized a couple of weeks in advance. The solution is simple: just say "Yes" when it offers to update!
There you have it. This is top quality software, given away for free today. Take the time to read before jumping to unwarranted conclusions.

Why is practically every GiveAway a system tune-up suite, a photo effects editor, or an iPod/iPhone salvage utility? I'd like to see other types of software here, something like business related software.

Do not be misled by Sumo 4.2 we just uninstalled it. It will look through your system to find outdated software but it will not find that software for you, it sends you to the internet to find the correct software and it also does not offer an option to install that software for you. the only thing it does is locate the out of date sofftware. iobit software not only fins what software is out of date but will also find the software for you and install it, all for a lower price then Sumo.
