Why Does the 1 year license expire Jan 3rd 2023 when installed and applied Jan 27th 2022? That is not a full year.

After installation it said my licence was valid without me having to put licence code in. So i removed the licence and then entered the licence code i was given.
it then said it was licenced untill 2023.I think everyone may need to do this.

david hughes, I did the same as you and got the 2023 registration increase as well.
This has nothing to do with a "older giveaway" and appears to be necessary for proper registration of this version.
