Most here won't read this because it will be at the bottom of the comments due to GAOTDs mindset? (or maybe just bad template), but anyways...
I have been using Zoom Player Pro version since they have been doing these promos. I believe it was 9 then last one 10 now 11.
Ever since I have been using this I haven't ever bothered to use any other. No need, this does everything I have needed it for. Better then Windows (which really isn't too bad if you know how to configure it).
I will definitely install this version especially after checking all the updates and fixes here http://inmatrix.com/files/zoomplayer_whatsnew.shtml
They are always updating, and one of the only ones worth their honest asking price (besides today:)
Only one in it's category as of now, don't even mention VLC, was good years ago.
Well, I tried Zoom player once... until I needed a subtitles. I had to download and install a separate piece of software!? I immediately switched back to VLC player, which I'm using as my only (video) player for fifth year now and I think it's by far the best (free) player around which is constantly updating/upgrading few times a year
Stil, I will mention VLC, so small, so fast and so portable you can use it everywhere. And did I say it reads everything ? And it is allways Free ? And open source ?
Have used Zoom Player Pro before...it too was a freebie, but then it decided to update at which point it reverted to the free limited version....so do not let this update if it asks
I hate media centres/ players which without as much as a "by your leave" automatically riffle through all one's hard drives constructing a media library. Does anyone know if this function can be switched off in Zoom Player? Is a Zoom play list dependant on having the media library? Any info greatly appreciated.
