Morning everyone. The answer to having to not having to launch Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop! We installed this on an XP Home SP3 machine and it installed and activated straight away with no problems. We have been looking for something like this for some time to save launching the larger programmes (mentioned earlier) just to resize photos for a website. As everyone knows, taking a digital photo for a website often means having to shrink it first, sometimes to thumbnail size before uploading it. This programme does exactly that, in a fraction of the time simply by dragging the original image into the programme window, where it is shrunk to the size you have selected - then you click and drag the image back out again into the original folder.
The programme has pre-set sizes the image can be shrunk to, the best being 400 x 300 for an eMail or website, shrinking the image from 2.84Mb to 39.7Kb without an quality loss at all. The output size can also be altered to suit your requirements instead of the default ones, and the final bit of clever stuff is it can remove the 'non-web friendly' parts of a photo name (like a space), therefore 'My Picture.jpg' becommes 'mypicture.qpr.jpg' instead - very useful.
Excellent bit of software - thanks again DZSoft and GOTD!

This is a great resizing tool since it has default resolutions for people who don't really know the exact width and hight they want - you can just pick Estra large, large, medium, small or thumbnail or you can customize the size of each of the above listed options.
There is not much else to say that hasn't been said already, including the high price.
Freeware alternatives:
IrfanView 4.27 - The most popular image tool ever. For beginners to advanced it can do anything!
Fast Image Resizer 0.98 - very simple and fast resizing
Image Resizer Powertoy Clone for Windows 2.1.1 - Let's you right click on any image to resize
Painless image resizer 1.5.3 - Easy resizing and can also allow you to choose file size (kb, mb) Great for those message boards that require specific image and file sizes for avatars and sigs.

Hell, I've got other resizers but I just tried this one and I like it better than my other ones. I can do a lot more with this one.
I can control every aspect of the resizing. Works simple and it's good looking. It's a keeper. Thanks. :)
